An intensive drawing course which offers stunning results in a single week.
Our Drawing course allows you to build on your skills as you learn them, achieving more than the equivalent hours of the weekly class.
By the end of the week you may not be a Rafaello (local boy) – that takes practice – but you’ll be able to express a visual idea and be well on your way.
The mornings are dominated by careful exercises in looking and mapping out a drawing. We tackle the portrayal of form, volume, perspective, tone, etc. as we progress through the week.
In the afternoons, possibly with the help of a glass of wine at lunch, we do swift, expressive exercises designed to bring out the inner artist, build confidence and find your personal style.
Its fun to go about and about abit. On at least two days we will make excursions to Tolentino, Rocca d’Ajello or Rocca Varano (all within 15 minute’s drive). We’ll still be drawing, but also exploring the area.

Thank you for such a smashing week. I particularly loved the enthusiasm… Beautiful place, great company, fab instruction and out of this world food. I will particularly miss foraging for mint (nuts, figs, fennel,). Now one thing – you managed the fire brigade and ambulance but no cute police in uniforms. Room for improvement. Thank you
Thank you so much for a lovely relaxing time, learning drawing and pastels, going to surrounding towns and eating the most fabulous food. Beautiful Italian weather and classic landscapes with every colour under the sun, even for those with a touch of colour blindness.
