Getting to Gorgiano Studios

Gorgiano Studios are located 3kms outside the town of Camerino, in Le Marche, Italy.

Pick up and Drop off

Arrival Day. 

We pick up from Perugia (preferred) and Ancona airports or Foligno train station. You should aim to arrive in the afternoon. We cannot pick up after 7.00pm.

Departure Day

You should plan to depart in the morning of the departure day.

These are our preferred flights

Arrival

We meet the  BA flight from Heathrow to Perugia, arriving at 5.45. 

There is a Ryanair flight which arrives at 4.30.  There is a very fine cafe if Artist’s need to wait.

Departure

We recommend 10.30 Ryanair flight from Ancona. If you prefer the BA flight which leaves at 6.30 from Perugia we are happy to drop you at a very nice restaurant in the late morning which has excellent food and is easy walking distance to the airport. La Locanda Paradiso

I would urge you not to book flights until 6 weeks before the start of the course.  This is when they are at their cheapest.

Train

We offer a  discount of up to 20% for those travelling by International train.  We will refund the cost of your train ticket up to £100 (or equivalent), each way.

We pick up from Foligno. For train times and prices see trenitalia or trainline,  a good site for international train travel is Seat 61

  • Perugia (1hr), Brussells, London Stansted, Milan, Monaco,
  • Ancona (1hr drive) London Stanstead, Munich, Brussells, and Roma Fumicino.
  • Rome  served by all international airlines. Flixbus direct to Foligno 13.40- 17.30, or Train to Foligno (change at Tiburtina).
